The recent typhoon Sendong brought a massive destruction to the cities in Western Mindanao and Negros Oriental. Thousands of people in these cities are homeless now. Nearly 2,000 are dead and missing. The evacuation sites have become overly crowded already, and resources and manpower are scarce.
