My mom just turned 60 last week, but she acts like she's 16 now. Several weeks ago before her birthday, when she told me that she would have a grandiose Hawaiian-themed birthday celebration, I couldn't help but laugh at the idea. But I realized she was serious as I learned that everything--- from the venue to the catering--- was already booked. Hala, she was really doing it.

I've scribbled a lot of things on my bucket list a few weeks ago. I contemplated. Read. Prayed. At first, I actually couldn't think of anything certain. I've planned a few things last year that I would do this year, but then, I got a little dicey about it. Few more things came in. I was not really sure if I'd write them. I was actually not sure if I could do them this year.
Before the previous year ended, I swore to myself for nth times to at least take a snapshot of each day of the year come what may...for keepsake. And I'm glad I haven't missed a day of snapshot yet.

January 1. I wasn't able to document much of the fireworks activity because I was too busy messing with it, hihi. As the first sunrise of the year came by, we noticed this humongous brown butterfly lounging by the porch. It stayed there all day. Folklores tell of brown butterflies as a sign of luck in money. Kung totoo lang sana!!

We just placed 2nd in the talent night. Many complained, we should have won! Anyway, tomorrow's the pageant night. WahhhhhhH!!!!!! Best wishes to me! ^_^ Up to Him.
I bought 3 pairs yesterday. I felt so good wearing it! And tingin ko at risk ako for blindness --- pag matutulog akong di nahubad ang aking chipipay na contact lens, goodbye vision, goodbye world, welcome blind ninja. Makakalimutin pa naman ako!!!!!!! ^_^
So kahit Best in Talent na lang, haha =P

JK was the guy who taught me that Qyosko's not just about Buttered Garlic Chicken but also Burgersteaks. JK was the guy who taught me that tiramisu is best at Gabby's Bistro. JK was the one who taught me that OTL is a Korean expression which means "depressed" (look at how the letters are placed). JK was the one who taught me that Windows Vista best works with a 2GB RAM. JK was the one who taught me that life is also about people coming and leaving. His English name, JK, means, "JUST KIDDING".
I only got close with JK for a month despite his 8-month stay in Dumaguete. He brought me to places I never knew and blah, blah, blah. He respected my opinion on smoking, drinking, religion, and Christianity. He listened to my preachings and complaints. I did the same, and we knew we could get along with it. We thought alike and almost acted alike. Well, wish I knew him longer. Sometimes, seemingly great people just come and go, and every happy memory is just left frozen on papers.

And JK and the others left for Manila today.

I am currently embarassed, depressed, extremely exhausted, and disappointed all at the same time.
Yes, those are the things filling my senses since yesterday up to now. Well, I certainly have left some days empty of my rants in this site, and I can't think or write well with Japanese at this juncture. But this time, I'll fill out this diary with a number of blusters.
------
Physically, my body's weakening: my muscles are strained, and my joints are aching. Preparations for the pageant they forced me into are really stressing me out. I never imagined myself to get involved with it, but I was left without any choice after they submitted my name for candidacy. It's final. I can't back out, and I have to endure the suffering, the aches, the pain, the stresses.
Mentally, my mind's almost running out of oxygen due to a lot of thinking---well to exaggerate it---I almost don't cease for fresh air and sometimes I forget my tummy's acidic and empty. A human brain is only 2% of the body's weight, but dang, mine's driving me insane like it's almost 50% of my load. While a portion's busy studying, a fourth is thinking about a dead laptop. While the linguistic side is rolling over explanations to verbalize, another fourth is thinking about the papers to pass the next day. I am a 30-year old looking 19 year-old human being, and I only get 3-4 hours of sleep from the normal of what's supposed to be 8 HOURS depriving me of oxygen! Does anyone even get me? So, I'm totally stressed out huh?
Embarassed - I left Nam-Hyun studying with himself for 4 hours.
Depressed - I'm convinced my laptop's completely helpless for recovery.
Extremely Exhausted - I'm looking over for the afflictions approaching if I take the step to quit this lousy pageant with all the torturous preparations. So, I'm left with no bright choice again when the situation lets you pick between those that leads to the same outcome---death (so exaggerated huh?).
Disappointed - ..of myself for coming up with the worst decisions ever - the legend of the misfortunate, mischievous, miserable ninja.
I'm a student, a tutor, a candidate, and an all-around amigo. I play these roles all at the same time, 24/7, without facades, all-out, believe it or not. Reasons? I'll blog later, I'm totally O2-deprived now.
JA, MATA ASHITA =P

My laptop was confirmed dead today, February 19, 2009. There are ways to revive it but its cost would be equivalent to buying a new laptop, so I'd rather leave it dead and buy another one later in life, huhuhuhuu. Mahal kaya ang laptop.
What's most depressing are the files in the hard disk. The hard disk got busted as well, so there's no way to ream the files out for safekeeping. I got teary-eyed learning about it.
The technician said my laptop's hardwares got wet. He even found a small amount of water inside when they opened it. Bla bla bla, I really don't know how it happened. What I'm sure of for the moment is the reality of living without my laptop ----huhuhuhuhuhu, ako'y nagluluksa!!!!!!!!!!

Binaha kami kahapon, 24 hours ang ulan. Buti na lang nasa second floor kami. So sight-seeing lang akin from the window, nyaha. Karumal-dumal na ulan!!!!!!

I'm sitting comfy in a coffee shop right now, tired from a day I never deemed to exist. I just wanted to untwist of what has stressed this mind today.
I was at the hospital earlier this afternoon---hospital, hospital hospital---a place where a ninja shouldn't be. What was good with today's duty anyhow was that we only had it for 5 hours instead of the usual 8 hours. Even though it was shortened, my body still felt the same load it gets after an 8-hour shift. I don't know, but last night's sleep wasn't that restful which must justify the fact that I feel sluggish and enervated so far.

30 minutes and I'm off to another session with John. He's really learning fast and I really am not having any problems with him. John's really a nice guy, I never saw him frown ever. I somehow spent my scanty slumber at his house last night. We watched some silly shows and finally slept at 2. We always laugh at corny jokes and we enjoy sharing our shortened tales one way or another. Hahay. It's because it's always him I see at the end of the day. After the tutorial, we eat out and stroll elsewhere together with Jane and Hupa.
Wahhh, this week's schedule is really crazy. The craziness started since Monday. I really am not used to scribbling timetables and crisscrossing them when done. Rather I'd admit I'm utterly a slowpoke. But then again, this week hasn't hindered me to make an attempt of keeping a list of THINGS-TO-DO bla, bla. I'm glad I haven't skipped an agenda so far. While getting NURSE-Y with all the college's arduous mandates like it's Martial Law 2009, I'm also hectic with my sideline as an English tutor to seemingly helpless Koreans (but they're adorable and I like them).
Ever since 2 weeks ago when Living Cafe closed and dear Korean acquaintances waned like rust, I've somehow settled my butt to knowing more and more of their likes here at Noriter Cafe. Though I wake up and manage a nightmare at our college, I somehow get to see a little light at Noriter getting vertigo with Korean semantics. Ahhh, sometimes being surrounded by Koreans make my smile shrink eventually. But I just love chuckling at their accent---and of course to their interesting narratives as well. Koreans are lovely as far as I can tell. I learned to smile always from John, some stupidity from Won Young, share hysterics with Crystal, feel proud beside a famous Korean comic artist, learned from J.K that Vista works best with 2GB RAM, experienced near death with Byul, envy Min Young for traveling 40 countries, and....well it's generally about NORITER and I love the place, the coffee, and the people.
This is how I've unwinded myself for 2 weeks now. I get tortured at school, and the naturally-regenerating environ of Noriter Cafe helps me go on for another day of torment and nursing. ^_^

I miss Living Cafe. They just closed a week ago. They then had the farewell party: inuman, chibugan, and so on and so forth. They offered me a glass of beer, I left it for the coke instead. At natututo ako ng Korean dahil masyado silang atat turuan ako in fairness haha.
Dally also went back to Korea. Kangsan left for Bacolod. Nixon for Iloilo. Duh, the transient buddies have come and gone. Nyaha. Pero, I will miss really miss them and of course Living Cafe. ^_^

Three years of endless grievances.
What am I really? A ninja, a nurse, or both?
Survived three years of sleepless nights.
I should have just failed!
I'm motivated by $_$ that's why.
Haha, kaya pala.
And my mom tells me I should.
Whatever yaya, I'm such a loser
Hahay, buhay. ^_^

Not to mark a religiosity on my ninja-ness, but I must have been blabbering a lot about who I REALLY THINK I AM....

I'm leaving tomorrow back to Dumaguete for the summer class enrollment. The grades aren't still up at the website and I need it to get enrolled. Could've they crashed down or something?
I stayed at the house for the whole day and got bloggish after a quick massage. Since then, my eyes were stuck in front of the laptop, while figuring out how to execute the O2Jam patch, which until now stands unresolvable. I really don't know what's happening with it. It just keeps popping up the "Cannot Execute" dialogue box.
My day's a bit wasted. I'm still declined at Smorty's and would probably have to wait for a week or 2 before everything's set. I've devoted my time to visiting several blogs, linked them and get linked in return, installed traffics, and exposed myself further to the blogosphere. I've got two blogs up already. The other one's got indexed at google yet due to the wordpress issues against advertising stuffs, I set it aside for blogspot, but it's still up and running.
The stirring moments for this year's summer is still about to happen for me. I've been reluctantly idle for days here and can't really wait to go back to the university town. Oh well, I've tasted this yogurt and only this blueberry juice flavor bit my taste buds. The rest tasted odd. Try it yourself!

Home sweet home indeed, but still stuck with the same cycle: eat, sleep, blog, download, play, read. Repeat it 4 times for a day. I’ve never moved myself out from there, and it was idly tedious for over a week already… except for the reading part which keeps me awake at times.
Naruto Shippuuden: the manga, the bigger picture. The weekly serves of the animated series kinda turns out numb. The excitement’s desperately seeping out as an episode ends and to realize that a week is a bit lengthy to withhold the fire. Thanks to the uploaders of the manga. I’m saved from this repetitively sluggish cycle. The chapters just keep me alive! Thanks to our newly hooked broadband as well!
The manga is helping me live out the dull air. And it’s now on its 394th chapter, leaving me 17 more chapters before I shift to something else.
For the rest of the animated episodes, I’ve decided to wait ’till they empty the waitings.
